How to turn a photo into a painting using Gimp

This is another one step Gimp hack for your photos.
Open a copy of your original photo in Gimp:
Select Filters -> Artistic -> Oilify
Adjust the mask size until you are happy with the preview and select OK.
That’s all you need do to convert your photo to a painting using Gimp.
