** This no longer works, WP 2.5 broke it and it didn’t get fixed so I wrote a plugin to help block bot registrations RazSoft has already written one. It was totally painless to install and set up.
Since I’ve installed it I’ve had no more problems with bots registering. I’m surprised this plugin is not better known and easy to find. I’m thrilled with it.
