Herself’s Webtools

Several of my sites ( Herself’s Houston Garden, Herself’s House Plants, TimesToCome ) heavily use photography.

If you are using Google’s Webmaster Tools ( and you should be if you are not ) go to Dashboard->Tools->Enable enhanced image search and check the box and tell it OK. My traffic on those sites is up about 10% since I have done that.

I also have Coppermine Galleries on those websites and most every image has a link to a relevant blog post.

Flickr photos that I upload I now include a link in the description to a relevant page on one of my sites. I’ve gotten a little but not a great deal of traffic from those links.
