I was doing some digging around for a plugin I’m writing for Wordpress and stumbled across this plugin. Search Meter gives you a search box to put in your sidebar in place of the one that comes with Wordpress. It will then track the searches your visitors do on your site.

This will let you know which posts you need to make easier to locate. It will also tell you what visitors will think they will find on your website that they are not finding so you can put it there for the next visitor to find.

The best way to build your site’s popularity is to make sure people find what they want to find when they visit your site.
